Punctal Snip Procedure

The punctum is a tiny drainage hole found at the inner ends of the upper and lower lids. Punctal stenosis is a condition of abnormal narrowing of the punctum, often caused by inflammation.

Punctoplasty is the surgical procedure performed to widen the punctal opening & to improve the drainage of tears.
